The initial brief was to design and build a micro site to display an annual report with complex data in an interesting and visual way. The brief evolved into a full site rebuild and design.
Data and insights are central to their work, and the brief required us to bring these elements to the forefront with precision and clarity. Thoughtful navigation throughout the site was essential to achieve this, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience paired with sharp visual design elements.
Working with large, complex, and constantly evolving data sets presents unique challenges. It was essential to enable regular updates through a CMS, which added an extra layer of complexity to the development process.
Guidance – Our role began with a series of workshops to clarify the client’s priorities before starting the design and development process. We took the lead in organising and categorising the data to identify the most impactful information for visualisation. Aligned with the company’s values, we also advised the client on best practices for accessibility and sustainability, ensuring the project met high standards in both areas.
Ongoing support – Our role continues well beyond the launch, as we provide top-quality maintenance and sustainable hosting to ensure the site’s long-term performance and durability.
Adding value – We recognised an opportunity to add value by building and implementing a custom analytics dashboard enabling real-time monitoring of user engagement and success metrics.
The annual report project is ongoing, with continued updates and refinements based on new insights and feedback.
